The communication project developed by Tecnoconference Europe for this event, which was attended by over 2,000 people, several members of the Italian government, including the Minister of Economic Development Paolo Romani, who gave a speech, was highly impressive.
The project was based on a dynamic multi-video projection system with two 13,500 ansilumen projectors, seamlessly managed to create an animated 12.25 x 4.20 meter wallpaper, on which were inserted, with spectacular picture in picture effects, the live images captured by three full HD cameras, interacting – through a sophisticated emission direction (in a standard even higher than the full HD) – with high resolution graphic mixers, with the speech supports, the movies and the graphic animations. The whole event was videotaped.
The production of communication included an evocative film on the history of the Italian traders from the nineteenth century to the present days, realized in collaboration with Museo Alinari.
A line array sound system with two clusters of eight elements each provided the best acoustic quality all over the room.
President Carlo Sangalli was supported in his speech by the teleprompter in the modern "transparent" version, with two reflecting mirrors.
Tecnoconference Europe also set up the press area with large monitors that, thanks to a massive fiber-optic cabling, allowed reporters to follow the works in the room and provided the many radio and television networks with broadcast video and audio signals.
