The whole Italian industrial system participated in this great event. Economy and its development, new ideas and internationalization, Made in Italy and Industry 4.0 are just some of the topics that have been discussed by the speakers, including the President of Confindustria Vincenzo Boccia. Challenges and concrete projects were presented to the public assembly in front of an audience of honour: the President of the Senate Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati, former Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni and the ministers of the outgoing government Carlo Calenda (Industry), Marianna Madia (Public Administration), Graziano Del Rio (Infrastructure) and Giuliano Poletti (Labour).

Technology and digital innovation enveloped the participants creating a truly spectacular atmosphere. Behind the podium and the presidency, a large rear-projection screen (14 meters long and 5 meters high) created an impressive and dynamic setting. The press area – made up of over 100 journalists – was connected to the Auditorium by a closed circuit monitor system with a complex fiber optic cabling. The audio and video broadcast signals were available for TV and radio and were broadcast live both on the web and on social media.
Simultaneous translation for foreign guests completed the range of services for the Assembly. Tecnoconference Europe–Del Fio Group had also intervened the day before in the Auditorium della Tecnica, on the occasion of the private assembly and career awards, providing an integrated AudioVisual Communication system.
