Cybertech Europe is the most significant conference and exhibition about cyber security technologies after the US one. It accounts for the latest innovations of the international cyber community and presents solutions against the global cyber threat in a wide range of sectors: finance, transport, public services, research and development, production, telecommunications, health and government.
The inauguration day was attended by Italian Defense Minister Elisabetta Trenta and by Leonardo's CEO Alessandro Profumo. In the backstage, Tecnoconference Europe–Del Fio Group provided all the technologies.
Cybertech 2018 brought together the leading corporations, small and medium enterprises, start-ups, private and corporate investors, venture capital investment companies, experts and their clients: more than 4 thousand participants from over 40 countries, 120 companies and start-ups, more than 130 speakers, 25 government delegations and hundreds of industry leaders per day. In addition, a large exhibition space for multinational companies and SMEs, as well as the 'Global Cybertech Start-up Pavilion', where young people and start-ups exhibited their technologies.
In the 2000-seat auditorium a large curved screen filled the stage with lighting effects and video projection in blending. Numerous feeds ran at the same time, including live images, graphic contributions, ppt etc., thanks to an advanced graphic mixing system. The amplification, integrated with latest generation line arrays to guarantee perfect sound, was important as well. The lighting technique included multiple Gobos, creating a polymorphic atmosphere. The 300-seat plenary hall was connected to the press room and the Forum via a fibre optic system. Finally, simultaneous Italian-English translation was available, and monitors were provided on all the stands of the vast exhibition area (this year positioned inside the Forum).
