Rome, former Customs of S. Lorenzo, October 15 th 2015

Maker Faire Rome is the European edition of Maker Faire, the most important show on innovation in the world. Maker Faire Rome is the largest one after the US-based “Area Bay" and "New York". The preview of Maker Faire Rome 2015 was a Conference dedicated to the Roman innovators, i.e. to those who use science, art, technology, imagination and passion to improve the world. In the backstage, Tecnoconference Europe–Del Fio Group.

The event, moderated by Riccardo Luna in front of 300 participants, was held in the presence of the President of Lazio Region Nicola Zingaretti and developed according to a tight schedule of interventions by many VIPs, including Carlotta Sami, spokesman of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the TV anchorwoman and university professor Chiara Tonelli and the virologist Hon. Ilaria Capua.

The formula was the "TEDx" one, involving only one speaker at a time on stage, but with a sparkle touch David Letterman style thanks to the live musical interludes between one speech and the other. The atmosphere recalled all the charm of the former customs area, arranged and adapted by Tecnoconference Europe–Del Fio Group taking care to preserve its original authenticity.

The shooting was carried out by a broadcast four-camera full HD direction (studio version) – three screens: one large, horizontal, and two laterals, vertical, from floor to ceiling, providing a truly choreographic effect. The high brightness projectors were full HD too, positioned misaligned to the screens due to the facility; to correct the image distortion was thus adopted a highly evolved device. The effect, combined with the high brightness and image definition, was really impressive.

The audio system was big too, giving an excellent intelligibility and sound pressure despite the strong reverb of the environment.
