Event of global significance, the Rome film festival got back for its tenth edition to its previous name (Rome Film Party) and took place along nine days making the Italian capital the international hub of the movie industry. Among the stars, Jude Law, Paolo Sorrentino and Wes Anderson. Tecnoconference Europe–Del Fio Group this year was in the front row.
The Parco della Musica Auditorium was as always the heart of the event. The 1300 square meters of the boulevard leading to the Cavea became one of the biggest red carpets in the world. Tecnoconference Europe–Del Fio Group provided digital simultaneous translation with eight cabins and more than a thousand receivers distributed between the Auditorium, the Baths of Diocletian and the Boscolo Exedra Hotel, for all the press conferences on the 37 movies. The number of the working languages, depending on the conference, ranged between two and four.
The event was organized by the Fondazione Cinema per Roma and promoted by the Municipality of Rome, Lazio Region, the Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture in Rome, Istituto Luce Cinecittà, Fondazione Musica per Roma. The main partner was BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas. The Institutional partners were the Ministry for Heritage, Culture and Tourism, the Ministry for Economic Development, ICE–Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of the Italian companies.
